They're saying, look, she's settling in well.
One source actually telling John Lee um that actually Michael D.
Higgins could have not resisted a publicity grabbing clash.
They're saying President Connolly is only at the beginning of her term.
She seems to be enjoying it, so she will be all sweetness and light.
Mm.
I don't know if she'll be quite that if you look at some of the comments she's made about Trump before comparing his act behaviour over tariffs to that of a bully.
So look, we'll see how it goes.
Yes, this is from Brian Mahan, and it relates to a story that the mail had last week about the FENAFO TD Malcolm Byrne.
Um, of course, he was a arrested guardly on the suspicion of of of drunk driving in recent months.
And Brian Mahan has details from a FENA Fall WhatsApp chat.
Um, one minister, he says, posted a bizarre tribute, and it was Christopher O'Sullivan.
Down in Cork, he posted a picture of Malcolm Byrne with sideburns and uh long longish hair, I suppose, and he says, A young Malcolm Byrne rocking sideburns on the late late is the best thing I've seen this weekend, always destined for greatness.
And that was the same day that that mail story came out last week.
But really, he was met with crickets in the WhatsApp chat, and one TD who saw the message told the mail on Sunday the reaction within the group was like
Like quote, a fart in a lift and he deleted the text.
Somebody very iconic.
I think another part to the story and it's reported across the papers too is the security side to all of this.
I think there's one quote in one of the papers saying it's you know, Trump will actually fly everywhere.
He's gonna take the chopper uh from Dublin down to Clare to Dunbeg, and they're actually happy to have him in the air more so than on the ground because they're worried about the security systems in Ireland.
