I have internal skill sets that allow me to do that.
And by doing that, I can get to a competitive advantage, right?
Then there are other organizations say, you know what, we're just more focused on the operational aspects of this.
And we want a simplified purchasing model.
And we want, you know,
We have a specific preference around what those vendors look like.
And a converged infrastructure solution for them can definitely be of value, right?
They can look and say, oh, we know we can get, you know, 6,000 virtual machines and this particular set of infrastructure and these set of outcomes pushed up and running on this particular platform.
Then, you know, obviously go into HCI, which is, you know, my general purpose IT people that go, you know what, I know virtualization really well.
I know a little bit of SAM, but I just went to basically right click, create storage and be done with it.
And maybe my environment isn't that sophisticated.
So for me, an off the shelf appliance model is the one that makes sense.
No, I think you're spot on there.
And I think one of the things, though, is it's hard to look at it.
There is a little bit of a blurring of lines between those.
I mean, I think you could apply
bespoke practices to you know across all three of those same spectrums and customer types it just depends on what their comfort level is and you know also really for me it's all about getting to the outcome that the customer wants right so you know we look at netapp as a portfolio company we have a lot of these technologies they're tied together with data fabric that allows for you know global data management portability visibility type of thing right um that's kind of the additional bit of piece of the puzzle that we bring in to the market
with all of those different consumption routes or consumption methods, right?
I can go the bespoke route, I can go the converged infrastructure route or package solution.
I can go, you know, cobble together the bits and pieces that I really like, or I can kind of go for a simple approach that lets me just kind of take a building block and scale those resources.
