I'm not I'm not going to throw Noah Senge in there because I really worry about him as a pick and I don't know what he's going to be able to contribute.
And that may end up being a sunken cost for all said and done.
But those other pieces in there and those other parts is a really, really good foundational base for the for the Chicago Bulls to build off of.
I think there's a lot of lessons to take from the New York Knicks regarding, A, mental toughness, B, absolute relentlessness, and even falling behind in games and having the belief that we're never actually out of the game.
And that belief comes from Jalen Brunson but spills on to the rest of that team.
There's a lesson in togetherness
and sacrificing individuality for the good of the team.
There was a ton of that with the Knicks this year.
That pulled them together.
There's a lesson in discipline and understanding how you play, playing that way when you get a team and there's weaknesses that you can exploit, you continually exploit them and you don't give in on that.
And then the other lesson is this.
The Knicks, they're a great example of a team that didn't play with their food.
When they had their foot on your necks, they pressed down.
If they had you on the ropes, they knocked you out.
And that was the Knicks.
And it's interesting with all the stuff we talk about the Knicks, the unselfishness, the discipline, Jalen Brunson, the job Mike Brown did.
There was a killer instinct that this Knicks group had that we hadn't seen from teams in a long time.
I'll tell you, the Thunder team that won it last year, they didn't have it.
They let Indiana hang around in that series, brought that to game seven.
I mean, when you look, Knicks lost three games in these playoffs.
