Australia this week, Japan the next.
It's almost like a build-up sort of thing.
Obviously, I think that from a playing point of view, from a coaching point of view,
actually being in a different environment.
I know Paul O'Connell has even talked this week about them all being away from home and spending more time together.
So it will feel very World Cup-y, which is probably really good preparation.
And you also get to see the guys.
You know, if that's the group that they're thinking about in a year's time, you're actually getting to see them all in that type of World Cup environment and you're fighting for a competition.
So, look, I'm sure that that sort of preparation for the guys is really important as well.
Potentially, I think you've got to go and start fast in this.
If you look at the way the thing is set up, even these games are probably most important because even when you think about what's going to come in the autumn, you know, if you come up here and you don't have a good performance down over the next couple of weeks, like...
Those games in the autumn become almost like you're chasing your tail.
I know there's competition involved in it, but if they're well out of it, what way do you manage that situation?
So for me, this game against Australia this week is, yes, you've got to go, get the momentum on the tour, get going.
Japan will be interesting, really.
There's obviously five new caps in the squad.
What way do they kind of go?
Obviously injuries.
We don't know how guys... It's all well and good saying people have pitched up and they're fit and...
going but again you've got to take into account you know Stu McCluskey was out for a long period of time how is he actually hasn't played rugby for a while does he come on the bench does he start obviously I know he was the player of the championship but again he hasn't played for a long time so there's a lot of guys in there obviously fellas coming back how they pitched up after the long season the URC travel there's loads of things in there but I think from Ireland's point of view this week
