You can actually feel a game.
And I actually prefer to be down around the pitch because you can actually feel what's going on.
It's like whenever I play it, it's a bit like,
you're talking about there you kind of know you get a feel as the play as the forwards on top as is the wind because doing a certain thing is or loads of things you can add to and it's almost little reminders and trigger points around the game and i know it's probably a little bit different in the women's game where it's kind of you know the girls are a different stage we're talking about but if you look at any sport look at the nfl as an example sure the head coaches a lot of the time are standing on the sideline chatting away to their players or quarterback they're actually writing down little notes but in between certain things so
There's loads of things in round that.
Obviously, the difference from a coach's box is they've got a bird's eye view, so they can actually feed in a lot of information that if you were standing on the sideline, you'd never be able to see.
So I do agree from a point where I think there's a point where players don't probably need to hear conversations that are probably being said amongst coaches.
And because it does get heated, and it should do, because you're obviously trying to get the best performance that you possibly can.
for me i know that but the way we work with irish women dennis foggery he's running messages on the forwards i'm running messages on the backs and having little conversations with the guys on a regular basis is really quite important because at the end of the day coaches in the box don't actually know how the players are feeling at any given moment and it's quite an important
important link to actually connect the whole thing but at the end of the day if you're up in the top of the box and you feel that if the head coach wants something done specifically then you know it's down to what needs to be done and we can just feed information here and there so I do think it's something you can see the French teams do really well I know it's a big thing in the NFL as well so
If it's something that needs to be looked at and hopefully can be pushed to hopefully get across in these big environments, big games, ultimately everyone's there to win.
And so we're all trying to push in the right direction.
So it's something I enjoy doing whenever I get the opportunity to do it.
Also, I like getting on the field as well, which is always nice.
But at the same time, yeah, it's something definitely that could look at going forward.
I think you probably do.
I think you kind of... You probably... I know that the fellas... It's a tricky one because you obviously want to be developing players and you want to be thinking about going forward.
But the way things are now, there's a real sort of cry out for Oli to play.
And...
I think the way he plays the game, you know, he'd probably have a point to prove to finish the season off as well.
