And so, yeah, what we understand from these researchers who uncovered this by just scouring the web for evidence that AI agents were running amok and and found some.
Um, these agents first started using this obscure German wiki in May to trade notes.
And it was just like another message board, like we saw with the Hugging Face hack, where the AIs were given some task and then they were like struggling with it.
Got access to the to the internet.
They started posting ideas on how to get around the safeguards.
And then we found that OpenAI seems to have cut off the agents way back in June.
Or at least the first time that happened was back in June.
And then the agent activity ceases in early uh July.
