You know, I was thinking about this the other day.

I got to Essendon in 77.

Essendon right now are at the lowest point of that whole period of time that I've been associated with.

More than the drug saga?

Oh, more than that.

Yeah, more than that right now.

More than that right now when you look at the win-loss record.

I mean, the whole supplement saga thing was like a terrible thing that a football club, you know, stained a football club for a period of time.

And I think they're out of that now.

What is worse now is sort of the on-field performances.

Even if you go back and look at the team they had to cobble together back in that year, they were better than what this side is producing right now.

So that's how far we've fallen as a team and a club.

And that's where they've got to pick themselves up from and rebuild themselves from.
