You look like you're glowing now.
The mother stole the first dance.
We were lucky.
You know, we get along with our son's in-laws
And we left them to sort out what they wanted about the wedding with the kids.
That, from my perspective, it wasn't my business.
That's our kids to deal with them.
But having said that, we got along.
And the way my son happened to manage all this is he continually brought all decisions down to three or four choices.
And then he consulted with the parents on either side for their input.
Very respectful approach, quite frankly.
We're lucky.
We're lucky.
But I'm sharing this not to gloat.
I'm sharing this to give our listeners a view into how to handle these situations in a way that can be felt as respectful and caring for the relationships in the interests of our kids.
