It's not like you snap your fingers three times, click your heels, and you've got a friend.
Friends are built from contact and caring over time.
A friendship is a relationship.
And so people have to experience you a number of times to see that you don't have two heads, six eyes, whatever.
I grow on people like a fungus.
I love that.
So, you know, we let it happen organically.
And by the way, you may have a particular interest.
Maybe it's horticulture.
Maybe it's checkers.
Maybe it's good books.
Pickleball.
Pickleball.
Whatever your interest is, join that club.
Again, already you have something in common with the people there or you wouldn't be gathered in the name of the activity.
So you can find some folks who may be your peeps through a common interest.
You know what?
Just going through the grocery checkout when you meet with the cashier, just say, how was your day?
Are people treating you well?
I do that almost every time I buy something.
