You know, I, I was on a couple of trips recently and we would go to, um, tourist traps, tourist attractions, and at every single one, there would be a person, quite frankly, most often a young lady with a selfie stick and the phone in the selfie stick, and sometimes a stand to hold their phone.
And they're doing these, uh, selfies, you know, in, in the environment.
And then they do take two, then they do take three, then they do take four, trying to get just the perfect image of themselves.
And we also know that there are those who will see these so-called influencers, and this is what they aspire to.
The magic moment, the, the looking perfect, the, the, the, the greatest experience and
It's false, David.
All these comparisons, they're false.
And these days, we have a crop of young persons who don't feel good about themselves all because of these comparisons.
One of my other sayings is, and I got to be careful because there's a four-letter word in it, but it's get blank done.
Get S-H blah, blah, blah.
Get your shoot done.
Get your shoot done.
Get shoot done.
And yes, that is a better focus.
However, many get caught into the trap of scroll, scroll, scroll, look, oh, that's what I aspire to.
Scroll, scroll, scroll, look, that's what I aspire to.
And to have that distance to understand that that to which you are aspiring to is a false front.
It's just a false front.
No one lives that life 24-7.
