I won't smoke after that date.
It's just after the bank holiday weekend.
Nothing poignant about it whatsoever.
Oh, yeah.
It's like, never move into a house on a Saturday because you'll be out on a Monday.
But, no, look, I've heard all these things.
My argument is that all governments do these things piecemeal, right?
If you really want to stop smoking, and remember, I smoke 40 a day, right?
I'm still smoking at the moment.
I'm going to give them up.
The only way to get people off cigarettes, ban the product entirely.
If you bring in the regulation like you have in the UK, okay?
And I'm a child that lives with a family and they're on 100 cigarettes between them a day.
I have access to that product.
Whether you like it or not, I have immediate access to that product.
So what's to prevent me at 11 taking a packet of fags off your mother or taking four out of her box, heading up the fields and having a fag like I did at 12, right?
The only way you're ever going to prevent that
is cut the product out entirely.
It's like a cancer.
If you don't cut the product out, the cancer will continue to grow.
