Like what was the hole I was trying to fill?
there's a kind of force for life that you have when you're 20, which gets you by.
It gets you overcome a lot of hills, a lot of mountains.
There's just a kind of forward trajectory that maybe I'd have used it for something else.
Maybe it would have been, but then when I look back, I think the context that I choose for that time now when I look back on it is like I really had to go through the darkness
to realize that that wasn't the light.
Because when you're in that, you think this is the, like, I'm going somewhere.
And then there's a point where you're like, I'm going nowhere.
I'm going nowhere.
And so the context that I choose for that now is it was a brilliant learning process for me, real life learning process.
You've gotta make it about something.
It's gotta be about something.
If it's not about something, you're wasting your time.
It's gotta be about something, right?
And I think that's a great way to split it up into decades like that.
