We're doing another episode of Premier League Greats, the moments that made them.

And...

This guy's tenure in the Premier League probably made his career, because most of it has been spent elsewhere.

He came to Manchester United from Portugal when he was, I think, 18 years old.

I think it's safe to say he's made a bit of a name for himself.

One of the greatest players of all time, Cristiano Ronaldo.

Ronaldo.

I mean, I don't think any of us really saw that when he first arrived.

But would you have played against Cristiano?

Oh, yes.

They had that story, didn't they?

They signed him because of his performance in a pre-season friendly, wasn't it?

And I think they said, we need this lad.

He's a bit special.

I mean, he's so much skill.

Yeah, I mean, he very much started as a winger.

I remember doing a lot of Match of the Days and, you know, you get Alan Hansen, maybe Mark Lawrenson back in those days and they used to be quite, you know, almost saying that, well, he's got loads of talent, but he's just got it.

He's got to cross it.

He's got to get, you know, he's overdoing it.
