And um I still remember that.
And uh I but I played at East Ring with a local club there.
And uh Sheed's got me down a couple of times only played in the McGoose down at Esnett.
Anyway, cut a long story short, I remember we're so fanatic, you know, we used to do the hundred hundreds and I was a fitness fanatic.
And what happened was I remember this time Ronnie Thomas, who played a few games at uh Richmond and so forth, he um
He introduced bricks.
We had to uh do a three K run with bricks before training, holding two bricks.
And you guys might relate to this.
And I remember one night he got it he he got out there on the ground, he said, Right, our boys are g we're gonna do some push ups I said, All right and we're there push ups and he tried to do a push up with the bricks and and
You know, you know, you clap your hands, you try to clap the bricks together and they were all going, What the hell?
you know.
Oh mate, we got into some bad situation.
But I was a fanatic, you know, I went down there first time playing a practice game, uh, when shooting it and I was seventy three kilo and then I ended up being ripped, you know, I was eighty five, ninety kilo, build up fantastic, one of his best and fairest centre half back, all that sort of stuff.
And she'd re recruited me, you know what I mean, and come down, play those games and stuff like that.
