Liverpool need different players in the wide areas next season.

That's what Liverpool need to buy.

Obviously his relationship with the manager has obviously changed.

No, he was maybe on Liverpool's radar under Jurgen Klopp early on.

But obviously Mo Salah was already there.

But no, he'd be too old for Liverpool.

I think the big thing for Liverpool in terms of saying we need to replace Mo Salah, when you actually look at the make-up of Liverpool's signings,

And I think it was a mistake last season.

And I said on this show, didn't I, it didn't feel like a Liverpool summer.

It felt like a Real Madrid summer.

Liverpool have been, and Mo Salah is the poster boy for this, being clever in the market, almost seeing something that other people do.

And Mo Salah is probably the biggest person in that.

Just going and dropping £125 million on Isaac or Wirtz felt like, didn't feel like Liverpool to me.

But I always think, how can you get the players on the pitch?

I'm not sure you can play with two out-and-out wingers like Salah and Mane if you've got two strikers like an Izak and Eke Tiki.

So if Izak's going to come back next season, he's going to have a proper pre-season, he's got to show something.

But Eke Tiki's been one of Liverpool's best players.

How do you get them both in the team?

And it'll just be interesting, whoever the manager is, because I don't think it's set in stone.
