My first house I bought when I was 18, I actually bought on a golf course in Bury and I used to play all the time.

But I found myself, because you get quite addicted to it, don't you?

You become obsessive.

Do you think it's good for football players?

There was a time with England where we'd be in a tournament and it felt like to me the lads were more worried about getting on the golf course.

after the actual training session it was about training in France remember France yeah but if it was a good course would you understand that a little bit no but I stopped playing golf at that point because I just thought it must tire you out it must sort of your joints and things like that but you switch off I'm guessing mentally and that's how I think now a little bit what do you think on that

You did very well in Spain, I didn't do as well.
