Yeah, and you'd seen that with the mayor of New York, who he's, you know, said called all sorts of names, uh, being very friendly with him uh while he was up there as well.
Uh the uh the interesting thing I thought about the the the Burnham thing is and Chris Mason of this parish, you know, he said uh despite all the gaming they must have done, all the scenarios, how to handle this, how to handle that, he said he still looked nervous when he went in.
You know, he still looked nervous.
And I don't
I don't I'm not surprised by that.
It's it made me think of of what you were writing about the loneliness of leadership, you know, and that whatever you do actually still at the end of the day, it's you uh and what you can deal with and how you can handle it and the character of it and that that sort of thing.
Mm-hmm.
But it there's a there's there's they've negotiated a couple of things pretty cleverly.
Uh the one that comes to mind for me is the the settlements, the West Bank settlements.
Settlements.
Um, because you know, when Ed Miliband stood up in the House and, you know, made that announcement, used that kind of language.
Um talk about ethnic cleansing and the sevens being guilty of terrorism.
Classing and the Savas being guilty of terrorism.
I mean I mean th it couldn't have been more robust, could it?
You know
I i I you know, it's pretty clear that there was a huge sophisticated diplomatic lift that went before that, which meant that the Foreign Secretary well didn't stand up and hope for the best, cross his fingers and that that the White House wouldn't kind of, you know, come down like a ton of bricks.
They'd had the hint.
There there'd been a lot of work done um before that.
