The book I've chosen is The History of Western Philosophy by Bertrand Russell.

I'm so glad I did philosophy at university.

I was never very good at it, but it taught me a way of thinking that was a sort of lifelong gift.

I think what I've decided to have is a cricket ball, a red cricket ball that they use in the test matches because I've listened to the cricket on the radio since I was a small child and loved it and I have a cricket ball in my apartment on the little table next to where I spend my life sitting around and when I think I just have to throw it from hand to hand and

And I don't know if you've ever smelled a cricket ball, but the leather smell is lovely.

And then the texture of the seam.

The only thing is that kind of if it rolls away on the beach, can it be like a magic one that comes back?

Because that would be tragic if I lost it.
