I may be donating food to a food pantry that you're going to because you need help.

We're friends.

We're neighbors.

If I was there donating while you're there getting food, you might feel embarrassed or whatever or humiliated.

I feel embarrassed.

But if we're separated by a little bit of time.

Yeah.

I know it's going to somebody in my community.

I don't know who, you know, it came from somebody in your community and you don't know.

Your dignity is maintained, which is really, really important because people should not feel ashamed because they're getting help.

And so this is very much a hyper local community program on a vast scale.

I was able to convince

the food banking system pretty quickly because it's a no-brainer for them and it's something they can't do.

Reaching the food pantries is more of a challenge because they're typically run by elderly, no disrespect to elderly, of course, I'm one of them, but by elderly volunteers who are not,

have so much on their hands that they're trying to just help the people in the community.

So it's a continual ongoing effort to get more and more.

Also, their information is very volatile.

It changes phone numbers, emails, whatever, constantly change.
