I don't know if this is going to be an issue, but if you think about a DualSense controller or an Xbox Series controller and then compare it to a Joy-Con, Joy-Con is tiny, right? The actual controller unit that snaps off is very, very small, right?
So it stands to reason that they're not able, they're probably not able to like engineer it or put as many parts into that controller that might, you know, mitigate those issues. Simply the fact that the new controller is bigger might mean that there's more room in there for them to engineer it a bit more, right? I don't know.

Right now, it's something for us to talk about, but again, no one's going to know. Like, no one's going to know day one, right? Unless they fucked up these sticks so badly they start drifting on day one, which seems very unlikely. We'll see whether or not we start hearing stories about this down the road.

But maybe that's the thing, right? I mean, in the hand, you know what it feels like to wiggle a Joy-Con thumbstick under your thumb. Does it basically feel the same?

So when you're playing a Switch 2, you already obviously have a lot of experience of using a Joy-Con, the thumb stick, how it feels under the thumb when you're moving it. Does it basically feel the same?

I was mainly issue with the Nintendo switch Joy-Cons and it is less of an issue on the pro controller, but like they always, the, the, the thumbstick always just felt a little loose. That's a taste thing. I wish all controllers did this. I wish you could just twist the controller to rotate the thumbstick like a volume dial to dial up and dial back the resistance.

You can do that on an Elite controller. I think maybe you can do it on DualSense Elite or whatever it's called, Pro, DualSense Edge. You pull off the stick and there's a little screw underneath and you can tighten it and you can make it as tight as you want it to be. Mine are like... pretty resistant, because I just like that.

There's less margin for error when the stick's really, really resistant. I don't know. I mean, that's for another day, but, like, again, we'll see. Let's move on to the next thing.

But Leah plays almost entirely handheld and has, like, fucking thousand hours in those Zelda games and probably and is now like I don't know how many hundreds of hours into goddamn Hello Kitty Island Adventure has never I don't think she's ever had an issue with stick drift we had a couple of Joy-Cons that just died and they're just no good but like died as in like they just stopped turning on

Yeah, but I think they were shitty ones that I got sent. Remember The Croods? That movie, The Croods?

They sent out promotional joysticks for that.
