I mean, city centres can be very deeply alienating places.

It's common.

to live in a busy stairwell and not even know your neighbors, for example, in the city center.

Whereas paradoxically, the more rural you go, the more you know your neighbors because you often depend on them or you need them.

And there are so few of them.

So there's a paradox there that's quite interesting.

There's so much, I would say that there's not much difference between

rural and urban in terms of people's approach to mental health and what we might get onto.

There's definitely big differences in generations between how older people talk about their mental health as compared to how younger people talk about their mental health.

No, I think younger people are just much better at talking about their mental health generally.

Yeah, they don't find it so threatening.

It's not so intimidating.

I mean, that's a generalization, of course.

But I'm just saying that broadly, younger people are much more at ease with discussing their feelings and their emotional state than older people are.

which has got a lot of advantages and some occasional disadvantages.

Well, the preamble to that is that many of you already know 90% of the consultations that happen in the NHS today happen in primary care, happen in general practice clinics.

And a third, about a third of all conversations GPs have are about mental health.

So that's a huge number.

I didn't know that until I read the book.

I didn't realize.
