The sample is rotated every uh few few weeks or so and you know um the the new group had uh an unemployment rate two tenths higher uh than than the others, so than the f then the full sample average and and uh and and an employment to population ratio ratio six tenths lower.
So maybe there's a mitigation factor there that will be unwilling.

It it rose to forty seven point four from forty one point four.
It it it was to my mind, it was the the the consensus forecast of twenty four point eight that was wrong.
Um it's just picked up a little bit.
If you looked at the details, um prices, you know, prices paid dropped to the lowest since February.
That's good.
But also prices um received dropped to February
New orders slipped from 37 to 30.
Shipments fell back, but the number of employees rose.
And they rose to the strongest reading since 2023, which doesn't really gel with national hiring data, you know, no higher, no fire.
Yeah.
Maybe, perhaps, it it reflects there's a sizeable Navy Yard rebuilding project going on in Philadelphia.
Where this is conducted.
Maybe it represents something local.
I think your point is well made about the forward looking, the expectations.
