You know, I mean these rises are driven by uh the the spike in the oil price, uh the weaker yen, you know, it's it's you know higher import costs and all that kind of stuff.
So to your point, yeah, they need to they need to get on with this.
Um and to the to the extent that the report uh you know validates that, then then then it's more evidence that they need to get on with it.
The US is always out in front and uh but activity levels everywhere have s have been remarkably resilient given what's going on around the world and you know the markets are looking for sort of a uh a consolidation of that.
But uh that that's a I think a positive story, uh even if the US is ahead.
You know, if there if it wasn't that would be new news.
The other thing is retail sales in the UK and public finance numbers in the UK as well, plus uh quarterly negotiated
Wages for Q two in the Eurozone, fairly benign, they are, and uh again, in line with the ECBs, we're not seeing second round effects.

I mean, obviously a lot of focus on the CPI.
Um, naught point one percent of the headline as expected, the core naught point two percent.
That means the annual core rate is at two and a half percent.
Um, you know, back down to the lows we saw January, February this year before the move up to two point nine.
The details showed gasoline prices down again, not as much as last month, down nearly ten percent last month, this month to two point nine percent.
Food was up a up a tenth um versus two tenths last month.
U car's prices were up um 0.4%.
Shelter was benign again at 0.1%.
Uh airline uh uh fares jumped two point two percent.
