And so I think that's an important distinction there.
But uh you know it's it's it's a I guess it's a it's a good news.
It's encouraging really for the Fed and for Fed independence.
There hasn't been, as I said, uh much
in bond yields because markets broadly expected it.
To your point about whether you know Trump coming out and saying that the the White House will take appropriate action.
I mean it's difficult to know what they can do given given that ruling, but it does suggest that they'll continue pursue the case continues to make progress through the courts and maybe they'll come up with some other information, other evidence and stuff and uh we'll see where that goes.
But for the moment uh
That's that.
And that's why as we speak, having touched uh one sixty-one point nine seven nine eight, it's just pulled back a little bit to to to ninety-two.
Um, you know, traders will be wary about taking it through here.
Um it's just a steady
you know, uh upward pressure on the dollar, downward on the yen that's going to continue, we'll get little bouts of intervention.
Everybody knows that they won't be successful until and if uh the Bank of Japan changes its tact and uh we get, you know, a more aggressive uh rate height policy, that doesn't, you know, seem to be coming along uh anytime soon.
And so that that that's the way of this.
And you know, we should I mean although on the day the dollar itself is a little bit low
Lower, you know, the whole FX universe is really looking at a bit of a shift in the dollar over the last uh two or three weeks.
You know, we've had uh lots of idiosyncrasic issues going around, whether it's stuff going on in the UK with politics, whether it's a loss of momentum in the Eurozone, um, and again, ongoing sort of
you know, uh eye rolling about uh progress on draghi reforms.
