I've been compared to him a few times, and I can see it.

I think we both kind of play like we like to read the ice, and I think he can slow the game down, speed it up when he wants.

I'm just a very smart player, and he can put the buck in the back of the net too.

I've heard that.

Obviously, games played on the wall nowadays, but I don't do what he does.

In the summers, how often are you skating?

Like five days a week, four days a week.

Like last summer was a little bit different just with how far we went in playoffs.

So it was a short summer and I was injured.

So trying to just recover.

But in summers previous, it's grinding.

I've been with Byron and live with Jim Hughes and stuff like that.

Yeah.

oh okay i didn't know that who's that the huge father yeah yeah yeah oh wow how did you get to know him through my agency uh one summer i went up there for a summer camp and uh um stayed at his house for a week it was actually a pretty sick group we had like me celebrini cat and we all stayed at the hughes house there so and obviously luke hughes was there um so it was fun being there and then the next summer just got close with them and lived there for the summer

Where will this summer be, Van?

I don't know yet.

I was in Calgary last summer, so... Oh, okay.

Might go back there.
