ahead of our time because we were very very cool we played at a place called the Dragonfly which was a trans then it was a drag club so it wasn't trans like they came now but it was a sort of like so it was this like wild club on Santa Monica where we didn't know we just were told to play there and the power went out three times because they only had like a couple of plugs in the wall for the whole band so

I thought that this great moment, I thought we'd blown it because we went to play to the showcase for the radio station and the power kept on going out.

But it was exhilarating to come to America and play.

Just felt like it was a dream.
