It's really simple.
I have a simple philosophy.
If I'm going to be away from my boys, my kids, and be on the road a lot, which we are, the only way I can justify it is by being as wild and as interesting as possible on stage.
And were I to go out in any way, I've never like phoned in a show or, you know, sometimes I look down and gone, Jesus Christ, there's 17 songs to go.
You know, I feel exhausted.
But that goes away pretty quick.
And I pride myself and I'm very lucky to have that in the band.
on like every show it's just gotta be the greatest thing you could ever do and then it makes it interesting because i would think that if you ever got on stage and you just like overly um separated from the show i find it very difficult to not have consistently other thoughts whether i have adhd or not i don't know it's just it's just that life is just like that i mean that moment like man what happened and
and then you're all over the place but the show is everything and so without making the show uh the priority so i'd know i don't find it there but i sure find it when i'm wandering around looking for breakfast and everywhere is shut and i can't yeah i'm like what am i doing you know are you traveling by tour bus yeah so you finish the show you get on the bus the bus leaves the middle of the night and drives to the next how do you sleep on the bus badly
You know, it's just sort of in the back and it's bouncing around.
I mean, again, it's the nicest way to travel.
We're playing with a band, James and the Cold Gun.
They're in a tiny kind of truck, bus.
They're loading their stuff in and off the bus.
And the stage, I watch them every night and I'm just, I just feel for them.
I'm so impressed by them working that hard.
You know, I've got techs.
I walk on stage and I make the shape of a guitar, someone who fell down dead, you know, upright.
And then they put it in, they give him the guitar.
It's so, they make it so easy, you know, it's, it's, they let me just do the show.
