My high school started this foreign exchange program when I was a junior.

And the second I heard about it, I wanted to go.

And I think it was that I somehow knew I could reinvent myself.

They wouldn't know I was a geeky kid who didn't have a boyfriend.

And that's how it turned out.

They kept saying, you must have been so popular.
