And it seemed like every time I wasn't and burst out of my shell, somebody would say, oh, no, no, no, no, no.

There was my house and a few other houses, and there was a long hill where there weren't houses, and there was a creek that went there.
And first of all, I was very superstitious at the time, so I had to find sticks on the ground in the shape of a Y, which meant, yes, you can keep going.

And if I found one in the shape of a V, that meant very good to keep going.
