The murders of 13-year-old Amy Ayres, 17-year-old Eliza Thomas, and sisters 17-year-old Jennifer Harbison and 15-year-old Sarah Harbison shocked the entire world, with the brutality of the crime unlike anything many of these first responders on the scene had ever seen.
The girls were tied up with their own clothing and shot in the head.
There was evidence of sexual assault on three of the four victims.
Solving this crime has not been straightforward.
In fact, it's taken 34 years, with the person responsible finally discovered, thanks to some incredible detective work and the developments of DNA science in 2025.
Robert Eugene Brashes, however, the serial killer who did this, died by suicide in 1999.
He will never see the inside of a jail cell for this horrific crime.
