They know that they could be, but they don't know what they should be doing.
And so I think he was very much like that as well.
I could do all of these things, but which one do I actually do?
That light was nearly $10,000.
It doesn't really align with any of the other goals we talked about, but there was also some quotes.
If you listen back to the episode, it's hilarious.
He talks about buying a cow at one point and then not realizing that he had to pay tax on the money he earned to buy the cow, so it made it like $5,000.

Shouldn't have bought that light.
Oh, yeah, we didn't go for the cow.
Yeah, so there's been a lot of impulse purchases.
There's the cushions.
There's potentially going to be the light that we've put on hold.
There was a cow.
But when we actually strip back that, his worries, his language and his thoughts, feelings around money are all of us just on a chaotic scale.
What jumped out at me is that he's a self-proclaimed hot money mess.
And this is the series that we're doing, the work that I'm doing with him over a six-month period, probably longer, is about turning him from a hot money mess into just nailing his finances.
But when we actually got into it, I just saw some really good, solid habits and things.
So while he's feeling like a hot mess, there was actually some really strong foundations, good decisions made.
And I think that's everybody.
