Well, those when the boomers were at their absolute maximum peak productivity.

How did we get from there?

Well, they had really good programs in college that they basically went to school for next to nothing.

They could just work a part-time job and pay for college.

And they came out to great government jobs.

They came out to great jobs created by government programs that invested heavily into aerospace, medical field, technology, computing.

All those things were laid out by the government.

The government started the internet.

The government started aerospace.

The government started all these things.

And that investment now is gone.

Education is expensive.

When you come out, there's no guarantee of a good job.

There's no guarantee that you would get a job that's different than if you had an education versus you didn't.

And now, not only that, on top of that, at least in the past, white-collar jobs were reasonably safe.

Now with AI basically invalidating 90% of white-collar jobs, what are we going to do?

How do we survive as a nation?

Where is the middle class going to find the next generation of the middle class?

And these are questions that we have simply refused to ask over and over again.
