But the other option was to try to fight this in court.
To hope and pray that the Supreme Court of the United States would still follow the laws as they have been written in our books for over 50 years.
To follow the Voting Rights Act as it is written.
Right.
We hope that that would be true.
We still hope that this will be true.
And there is a very real possibility that this we will take this case to a full appeal to the United States Supreme Court.
And it is highly likely that they will find that the Republican maps are illegal, are unconstitutional.
But because of the artificial device that they created in the Purcell doctrine.
They're going to give the Republicans a free pass.
