It doesn't have to suck anymore, right?
Everything that you're seeing around you, like America's on fire.
And people all across Texas, towns are on fire.
People are losing their farms.
People are losing their jobs.
People are losing their homes.
And it's just complete radio silence on the Republican side.
And I think what needs to be said is, not just to Democrats, not just Republicans, to everybody, it doesn't have to be this way.
There were better times for a reason.
There were better times because we were sane.
There were better times because we didn't let companies and billionaires get away with this stuff.
Like we had better times because we invested in our people, invested in our communities and did all the things that governments were supposed to do.
And somehow in the last like 10, 20 years, we've deluded ourselves into this idea that, hey, if we can just slash our way into prosperity, that the more services we cut for people, the better off we will be.
And that the only people pushing that is like the billionaires who are getting the benefit of all the tax breaks.
And meanwhile, we're sucking wind down here.
And what is important for people to understand is this is how they retain power.
This is how they're able to do it.
By doing this.
By this exact thing that you're watching in front of you at the Supreme Court.
They do this so they can stay in power against the people's will because the vast majority of people are now against this.
