You think you've got the best history, that you've got the most courageous record, you've got the most Victoria crosses.

And this is the level that we fight at.

So whilst you've got to temper it, you've got to make sure that it doesn't tip over into destructive behavior.

We would never want

people who join these regiments as whether they're joining the the army is into a regiment or they're joining a particular squadron in the air force, you want them to think that they're the best and to strive to be the best because that's what makes us as good as we are.

The time it came together, I thought really wonderfully, and that I was so proud to be standing alongside the Royal Air Force and the Royal Navy, was at the King's Coronation.

And indeed at the Lake Queen's funeral, where you had

Contingents from all three services trying their absolute best for our late commander in chief and then our new one.

And there was a wonderful spirit of teamwork, of atmosphere, of mutual respect.

I was very proud to be there.

I I'm not a fan of bravado.

I think quiet confidence, I think pride, I think a healthy spirit of competition, as we've just been talking about.

But bravado to me means something that is hollow, is fragile, doesn't speak to an inner strength.

But you know, as as services, as militaries, we have a set of values.

You know, we write those values down, we teach them, we inculcate them, we train.

train our people to have them.

You know, courage, discipline, respect for others, integrity, loyalty, selfless commitment.

Th those are the British Army's values.

The Air Force has something very similar.

The US military has something very similar.
