This inability to to uh and it's it w it it dated back to the WGC, you know, that first day and that but that was different.

Guys would come from all over the world, play one match and have to leave.

Um, so and I I thought the old WGC solution with the round robin was good there.

But in this, if you're talking about season ending tension, you're trying to build some drama, um

I don't know how you do that with uh I mean who's gonna wanna play much less watch

the the m the match for for eighth place money at the end of the year.

Um I I I just don't get it.

And this this well you know, don't let's TV executives just don't forget.

Well, and they fear that.

I understand that.

So but they don't have enough star power at this point to me to worry about that.

I mean, uh you know, these aren't the the tiger days are over where you're you're worried about sending him home.

And r it's th you know, Rory's the only guy they have right now who who would uh you you send him home early in this thing and then and and some people lose interest, but they don't they don't have enough gravitas out there to

to worry about that.

So I I just find it all kind of funny that that people missed that that the the the beauty of the Walker Cup is A the team element.

uh the the the complexity of the of the format and um and then yeah the spectating experience the way it works I just don't see the modern Bratt PGA Tour Pro

Uh I mean, can you imagine if there's a match behind one what happened at at

uh Lahinch, which got a little out of hand a few times.

It just let people get way too close to the green and the guys are in the fairway waiting for the thing to clear.
