I had a great session with John Bodenhammer hearing what they're planning to do, and
you know i think a very inside baseball kind of topic but uh he they're really going to try to have the setup start at a place and then just gradually go which is the way it used to be with golf tournaments and they would peak on sunday and even you know we have these theme days even carrie haig who used to kind of hate that kind of thing now kind of has saturday's the birdie day and we're doing you know we have that at just now riviera and the tour is doing that and then sunday we're hard
And I'm tired of it, frankly.
I just think a good setup every day.
I love the old model of six hard, six medium, six easy pins.
And letting the course and that daily maintenance just kind of quietly ramp up.
That to me, even though it's not natural because it's maintenance, it is natural in a way.
And this trying to control things has gotten people in trouble.
But I think John Jennings will be way more involved.
I can remember two different times.
Standing back with him while Mike Davis and the team were doing their thing.
And he had his front nine assistant and then his back nine.
And I just remember going, is this opinion used a lot?
No, no, no.
Oh, boy.
So I think, as you know, your video with John is fantastic.
I mean, he has seven assistants.
He probably could run a corporation if he really had wanted to.
He's a very bright guy.
