You're you're getting hit with salt spray and um and the tension, the whole thing.
So it was uh but yeah, so that's the nature of Lahinch that uh although I had a h uh a really funny conversation Sunday night, uh some of the Irish press was going on about the finish.
Uh but then they started going, but you know, it's really crucial.
You know, eleven, twelve and thirty.
thirteen.
We've seen so many matches changed there and then
And then it was like, Yeah, but I mean the middle of the round can be really wild.
And then those beginning holes, you know, so much can happen.
It's like, yeah, okay, guy.
Every hole.
has stuff going on and it's why there's just so much volatility at at Lahinch and why it was just um because even even some of the places we've been in recent cup events and and Walker Cups, nothing has, to me, uh so many holes where you just feel like
Uh it can turn in in little stretches.
It's it's it's a it's a wonderfully bizarre course that way.
Uh well first credit to uh Brian McDonough, the superintendent, and uh Connor Finlay of the RNA who did the setup.
He really backed off the setup uh because we had some some crazy forecasts.
Some of it materialized.
Sunday it it it it materialized just perfectly, but not what they had on paper.
If they'd had what
was on paper, it would have it would have just become this kind of crapshoot and no good shot would have been rewarded.
I mean forty mile mile per hour gusts and stuff.
