And I went out right after he teed off on 16 and I looked at it and went, oh, my gosh, this thing was like marble.
If he if he if he didn't catch the hole with it, he would have had a 10, 12 footer coming back at least.
So it just shows, you know, over the course of the day with a full field.
Modern preparation, sun at the highest point it is all year.
It's just really difficult to do.
And especially when they do it so early in the morning, especially if a lot of guys make the cut on the weekend.
So it's a tough task.
Of course, all this is a product of modern green speeds, which, you know, I don't think that's going backward.
That said, by the way, just on Riviera, they kept the greens.
They were beautifully smooth.
They started at 13, but they were 12 at the end of the day, probably.
And Paula grows this time of year, and they were smooth as can be.
So some of that argument's a little bit dicey at times, I think.
Well, you were there recently, right?
That drains well.
Yeah, and there's several moments visually that are murky, no matter how many times you play there, you know, 10 green, 11 green, and they don't love that either.
Again, I didn't have to hear any of this complaining last week.
It was so nice.
And I get it.
