Okay, I want to round this up and we are now into the realms of a hypothetical question.
If you had decided that you were going to leave Manchester United for whatever reason, although you say if the boss had decided you were leaving, that was first and foremost the case, which would either be through rewarding your loyalty or deciding you were no longer beneficial to the squad.
Where, if you allow yourself to imagine, where do you think you would like to have gone?
Whether it be another club?
Could you have played in the Premier League against Manchester United?
Or would you like to have gone abroad?
It would never... I mean, not that they were... We can rule out two clubs for us.

What if the manager of any of those clubs at the time had come to you and said, look, Gary,
We know about your United tradition.
We know what you feel, but we will make you captain.
We'll build, we will, I can't say build the team around you because that would be fantasy.
But, you know, you're a really important part of this and you believed in that person.
