And then it was also very interesting at a dinner with Sam Altman at OpenAI.
And he just mentioned that, like, he came back from Korea.
He, like, bought, like, 40% of the world's supply of memory.
The memory trade that, like, now everyone's seeing, like, people knew about it, like, a year ago, right?
And a lot of people made a lot of money doing that trade.
Um...
I mean, I wouldn't even say it's just, like, tech people in general.
I think tech people index with, like, the highest IQ people.
But I think just the smartest people in the world are playing in this game where it's pretty clear that if we buy and believe that we're going to be AGI future, what are the downstream impacts of that, right?
So, like, obviously people are bidding up OpenAI Anthropic, and then you go down to NVIDIA and semiconductor chips.
And I think it's increasingly valuable and clear that you go down to power, you go down to rare earth minerals.
And I think it's like a super fun time to be in the market.
Because I think that you can either be in the camp that like AGI is going to replace all our jobs and there's nothing for people to do.
Or it's like, hey, it's super exciting to like play this chess match with the rest of the economy.
I think the information is more available than ever, right?
Like podcasts like yours, like you're literally getting the smartest people in the world telling their playbooks and their roadmaps and their prognostication of what the future looks like.
take that and maybe trade on that or just like do the mosaic theory talk to all the smart people in the world doing all the interesting things on robotics mining stuff doing fusion research making robotics actually happen and just build up a bottoms up universe of what is a choke point what is underpriced I feel like
Half the world is just pessimistic and likes to hate.
Right.
And I think another half of the world is very optimistic and you want to participate in the game.
