I think they all are pretty rational, pretty reasonable.
Like, they all have their incentives and goals of what they want to do, right?
Like, I think rent control seems idiotic.
Like, it doesn't make any economic sense.
But, I don't know, if you need to placate, like, the union and this and that, and, like, you need to do some dog trades, right?
Like, as a businessman, I get it, right?
Like, how many deals where you got, okay, like, got to give up on this clause, but I need this clause, right?
So, I think a political negotiation, to me, just sounds like a business negotiation.
And it's like...
That's where I think electing good people that are smart and have similar values is really important because you cannot micro all the information that they have.
I think there's always going to be trade-offs.
So the best you can do, hopefully, you just have some good people in there that aren't going to grift too hard and not going to scam too hard and just try to kind of do what they said they were going to do.
