And it didn't used to always be like that.

I think now I've done a few of them that I do try and remind myself to stop looking at the wheel in front of you and actually look around.
I mean, there was a couple of moments in this tour particularly that it's just...
that I was, mainly because I was out the ass.
I was like, I had a bit of time to go, okay, was there a million people on this mountain?
Like literally 800,000 people on one mountain, screaming at me, your ears are ringing.
I think the last stage in Paris, up Montmartre there, it was like,
Unbelievable.
And there was moments I'd come in and just you can't hear anything.
You just screams of people.
And I think there was times you get the goosebumps and you look around and you go, okay, this is pretty awesome.
But I think so much of the time you're just suffering and you're just hurting.
Yeah.
You know, you've got a director in your ear, you've got your wheels, you know, you're sitting one centimetre behind the guy in front of you at 50, 60k an hour and you just, there's so much going on that it's sort of now when I get home and it's very quiet and I go, oh, that was fucking insane.
Oh, like I still do get a bit of the fear, but the moment you are scared, you're also in trouble.
So like, I think I've avoided the fear quite well until I crash and then it comes back for a few days and you're very aware of like how ridiculous this is.
