He won't be around much.

We're offending a lot of people at the moment.

Well, yeah, I wouldn't go as far to say it was regulation.

It was kind of a voluntary thing that if AI companies are building stuff, please could you come to us and tell you what you're building, just so the US government knows.

You're not going to be used to create a cyber weapon, or it's not going to be used to attack us, all that sort of stuff.

We would just like to know if you don't mind telling us.

So very, very soft.

Nothing like regulation we have here in the UK and in Europe.

The tech bros, including Elon Musk, Mark Zuckerberg, and Trump's own AI advisor, David Sachs, weighed in very, very heavy and said, no, no, no, there is no way.

If you do this, we are going to fall behind China, which is just one of Trump's buttons that you push on him.

And this is not going to come to fruition.

So it's kind of not going to appear.

Well, it does appear so.

I mean, there's always been this sort of power play, hasn't it?

Like, who's sort of really in charge?
