I'm I'm intrigued to see how Lincoln will get on.
Um, they won
The they won League One last season with 103 points, which would have been, you know, a record in modern times had Birmingham not won it with 111 the season before.
And yet, despite their dominance and despite the fact they were such a great team, that they're still being written off based on kind of size of club, I guess, um rather than the quality they showed.
I mean, they have lost their manager, Michael Skubala, who's moved on to um to Bristol City.
His two assistants were were appointed shortly after that decision was made.
He isn't the reason for our success.
We are just a well run club and he's a a cog in that machine.
So it'll be interesting how they got on there.
But they also lost maybe their best player in the second half of last season too in Jack Moylan, who's gone to the team that finished second in in Cardiff City.
They've got a very
robust style of play, which I think will be will be well suited to to moving up into into uh the championship because they aren't a team that necessarily
Need the ball.
Um, they're happy to sit off and and attack in a very direct way where they really try and exploit the space that's left in behind defences.
And I and I, you know, but we see clubs who come up from from League One into the championship, they tend to go okay in their first season.
Often kind of gravity sucks them back into League One the season after.
But I I I think Lincoln could really start well, albeit a pretty tough assignment first start playing against Middlesbrough.
Also really intrigued to see how Cardiff get on
under Brian Barry Murphy, um, another manager who wouldn't surprise me at all if he's got a huge future um at the top level, um, a very, very different style of football to Lincoln where they get the ball down
No, just the championship.
