ignorantly but really firmly assumed that how could because of our general cultural ignorance about autism right i was like well how can i feel so strongly about things when autism is about the absence of feelings which is a complete misunderstanding and misinterpretation of how autism works and pierre's diagnosis and pierre's uh research showing that
people with autism and other neurodivergences, which is probably, I think, been the most helpful word to me in my adult life, just as an understanding of how brains work and how my brain works, is that they congregate together without even knowing each other's diagnoses, or even they may not have diagnoses at all because you're operating on the same software.
