And one day I have this mentor, his name's Robert.
The reason why Robert's my mentor, it's not because he's incredibly rich, but he's incredibly rich and every Sunday three rows are him and his family.
And I turned to him and I said, this is the rich that I want, that when the dollar doesn't motivate my heart.
And so we're looking at his compound, and this thing is insane, dude.
And I told him, I go, is it wrong that I want this?
And he said, no.
And I go, okay, can I ask you something?
How can I get rich?
And this was the first time I ever asked this.
I said, how do I get rich?
I've never thought about money, how my mom and dad raised me was,
god will give me what i need and everything else more or less it's not about me it's not anything to do with me um but i had this in my heart where it's a tool and so i asked him i said how do i how do i get rich and he said know that it's not your money so every dollar that you spend on yourself know that it's not yours that you're literally using it from god's and two uh tithe
And the reason I want to speak that out is because that significantly changed my life.
I went from every month trying to look over my overheads to I never think about finances again because I know that there's a true spirit of God that hovers my finance.
And as long as I'm holding his money with fear and awe, then he will bless me.
How do I preach this without seeming like a prosperity gospel?
But I feel like I'm doing a disjustice, hiding that information from people.
Because people are like, oh, you're a prosperity gospel.
Which breaks my heart when people are like, oh, I don't want a rule book to live my life.
And I'm like, it's a construction manual from who created you.
