So up to the Roth IRA limit for that year, this year, it's 7,500 bucks until you hit 35 grand.

And that's only if they don't end up using it for college.

Because I know, you know, we all think, well, who knows 20 years from now, what will college be?

Well, what if they go and it's

three times as expensive as it is now.

And now they're in crippling student loan debt because mom and dad said, you probably won't go.

So I would rather be safe than sorry and have the money and then not need to use it or roll it to a different person.
