Where is it?
Yeah, I was I was out there two days ago and so probably next week we'll have a st story about it.
But here's the story is that
I'll take you back in time first in nineteen eighty four.
Area fifty one.
US Air Force seized eighty-nine thousand acres of public land around Groom Lake.
It's it was uh land that was public.
You could camp on it, hike on it, whatever.
One day, the next day you came out with no notice at all.
It was illegally seized.
There's guys with machine guns or M1s or whatever, and you couldn't it was just took it.
And then a couple months later there was a congressional hearing to get permission for it.
In nineteen ninety four it happened again.
There was a place called Whitesides Mountain, which I actually climbed at one point to look down on the base and and uh Freedom Ridge and they took that l land as well.
And then as of three weeks ago.
They seized twenty six thousand acres of land, public land.
That's twenty five miles away from Area fifty one.
The BLM is the one that did it.
They suddenly one day there's signs that say you can't go up there anymore.
