There are disagreements uh when it comes to matched

So communities have been very skeptical about health workers whenever they're trying to make inroads, especially in the rural areas where people are still skeptical about the whole Ebola outbreak. matched

They don't believe that it exists, and some of them believe that health workers actually are the ones who are bringing the disease to their communities. matched

These resistance and that's why some of them have even really gotten violent when uh dealing with some of the health workers. matched

They are very influential and what they're encouraging them is to be on the forefront to educate the communities about the outbreak itself, the threat that it poses and why it's important for them to collaborate with health workers to contain this particular outbreak. matched

We've been seeing an increasing number of people who have been infected, which is now slightly over five thousand, and the disease has been detected in six provinces across eastern DSC, especially in regions that do border neighboring countries within the East and Central Africa region.

So basically the rate of transmission, the pace is a major concern because it has outpaced the response by health workers.

Part of the reason it's because this outbreak is taking place within a region that has not got a very significant presence of the government there.

So what happens is that this very not so developed infrastructure to support the health crisis.

So if you're talking about facilities that can be used for diagnosis and also the number of health workers, it's a very expansive region.

Which is quite underdeveloped, and so even transportation is really a huge challenge.

Also the banking system.
