Right.
Crane is back on the case.
And this week, a sad story about cancelled flights due to the Iran war.
Now, you have a reader who got in contact.
At the beginning of this year, my husband and I booked flights to Islamabad to deal with some family matters after our son sadly died aged 33.
The flights were booked using the online travel agent Podo and cost around ยฃ2,700.
Now, they were due to fly together with Emirates from Manchester via Dubai and returned separately for whatever reason.
Nine days before, they both got emails saying that the outbound flight had changed, but the new time would mean that they would miss their connection.
We called Emirates, but were told to go to Apodo instead.
After speaking to Apodo, I decided not to travel and requested a refund.
But my husband attempted to change his flights and still make the trip.
That, Helen, is where the confusion really begins.
Take up flight.
Exactly.
Yeah, I'm the same.
And the worst thing about all this is the reason that they're flying as well.
Like they don't have a lot of stuff going on in their heads that they really don't need to worry about ยฃ3,000 that accompanies like, oh, I haven't been paid.
Sorry, not my problem.
If you haven't been paid by Emirates, not my problem.
You owe me.
